Every time I get to read to my kids its a good night. Hearing the question “can you read to me tonight”? was music to my ears. The talks after the evening reading were awesome, sometimes not on the book, were great connection times.
Books have been my way to connect to my kids in a lesson driven way AND get to spend one-on-one time with each kid.
The below banner of books are the treasures that have attached themselves to our house, our lives.
Capturing the moment and leading them from one journey is the essence of the picture to the left.
As fathers, reading bedtime stories to their children, a special bond is formed that nurtures emotional connection and fosters language development. This nightly ritual not only promotes a love for reading but also creates lasting memories that children cherish into adulthood. The soothing sound of a father's voice narrating tales transports little ones to magical worlds where imagination knows no bounds. Through these shared moments, fathers play a crucial role in their children's cognitive and emotional growth, laying the foundation for a strong parent-child relationship built on love, trust, and the joy of storytelling.
Starting the reading journey at the bottom of the pile then working our way through the grades. The stories are just as fun but now more complex.
